Esade recognized by Merco as best educational institution in Spain for talent
鈥楳erco Talento Espa帽a 2023', which measures Spanish companies in terms of attracting and retaining talent over the last year, ranked Esade as #1 in the educational sector and #59 overall
Friday, March 15, 2024. Esade, an institution integrated into the Ramon Llull University, leads the ranking of academic institutions in the latest edition of . The report is published today and ranks the recognition of Spanish companies for attracting and retaining talent over the past year. Esade is followed in the same section by ESIC, EAE Business School, and IE University, and it is the #2 best after Google in the list of companies with up to 1,000 workers.

This recognition follows recently announced top positions for Esade in the Merco Responsabilidad ESG Espa帽a 2023 and Merco Empresas y L铆deres 2023, in which Esade is graded as the most socially responsible university school, and the school with the best corporate reputation, respectively.
Recognition of impact on society
The Merco Talento Espa帽a 2023 report analyses 6 perspectives, 11 sources of information, and more than 52,000 surveys. Consultations were made with employees, university and vocational training students, business school alumni, human resources managers, people management experts, head-hunters, lecturers, union representatives, and the public. The overall ranking is led by Inditex, Iberdrola, and Repsol, and Esade is ranked #59.
Mar铆a D铆az added: "The fact that these groups rank Esade as the best school for attracting and retaining talent shows their confidence in our brand and recognizes our impact on society through academic innovation, research, and debate鈥.
The Merco Talento study, now in its 18th year, highlights that the most attractive companies to work for are admired for their values and results, for encouraging a sense of belonging, for offering good salaries, and for belonging to an attractive sector. Within this last section, the report points out that the energy, gas, water, and pharmaceutical sectors are strengthening their reputation in terms of talent; the banking, food, and beverage sectors are recovering; and the insurance and educational sectors are maintaining their reputation. However, the technology and software and general distribution sectors are becoming less attractive for talent.
